PRESSURIZED SCALDING WATER HAZARD: RV water heaters operate at up to 140°F (60°C) under 45 to 60 PSI of water pressure. Never remove the anode rod or drain plug without first shutting off water pressure and manually tripping the temperature-pressure relief (TPR) valve until all pressure and hot water discharge ceases. Failure to do so can cause severe scalding burns or eye injuries.
